• The building process begins with an initial consultation with our builders. This is where together; we discuss the lifestyle practicalities and ‘vision’ for your dream home. Using a strategic process, we determine your individual needs and answer any questions.

• In the situation that you own land, we suggest meeting on site in the first instance to ensure we work together in creating a home design that will best complement the style, location and orientation of the block.

• Having determined the parameters and specifications of the ‘brief’, the design process begins. It is during this phase that we will work very closely together to bring your vision to life. Sketches of the desired floor plans will be sketched for consideration and visual perusal.

• A preliminary estimate of costs is provided once you are satisfied with the sketched floor plans. It is a priority for us to work within your budget in creating your new home.

• Once floor plans and budget considerations have been finalised, a preliminary agreement is developed.

• Bluewater Builders’ professional team conducts thorough preparations of the site prior to commencement of building.

These include:
› site inspection of your block of land
› site survey
› soil testing
› full working drawings
› detailed quotation
› comprehensive specifications and inclusions, and
› engineer-designed slab and footings.

• A firm quotation and building contract is then presented as the final step of the pre-building phase.

We will work closely with you throughout the construction period, providing regular on-site access to ensure you are able to inspect and provide feedback at each stage.

Prior to handover, you will be invited to attend a final walkthrough inspection of your home. This is your opportunity to thoroughly inspect our work, ask questions and discuss any items you feel may need to be addressed before you move in.
